Tuition and Fees

Tuition and state support are the two main sources of revenue that pay for the bulk of the university’s operating costs — including faculty and staff salaries, classrooms and libraries, academic advising, information technology, facilities, and around $60 million in that help ensure the UO remains accessible to every qualified ¹û¶³´«Ã½appian who wants to attend.

A college education is a big investment in your future. We want all students and families to be able to plan for that investment without worrying about cost uncertainty.

That’s why we provide the ¹û¶³´«Ã½app Guarantee: when you choose the UO, the tuition rate you pay will stay the same for up to five years — no increases, no surprises.

Equity and Inclusion

Working to understand the barriers faced by historically under-represented people, we engage in discussions to create a better and more inclusive community. Recruiting and supporting faculty, students, and staff from diverse backgrounds to examine social disparities, we’re committed to producing research and developing academic resources that help to advance equity and justice in the greater world.

We believe our community is at our best when we affirm, respect, support, and celebrate what makes us different along with the common threads that tie us together.

Student Groups and Organizations

College is about a lot of things, but most crucially, it’s about discovering who you are and what you’re interested in. Which is why we host and support hundreds of student organizations.

Club sports, honor societies, student unions, sororities and fraternities, you name it. There’s something for nearly everyone here. And if you don’t find what you want, we’ll help you start your own group.
